I've recently become very interested in solar energy, so I bought a solar charging panel. I've tested it, and it doesn't work indoors through glass; it needs direct sunlight outdoors. At midday when the sun is strongest, it charges an Android phone by one bar in one minute, which seems pretty good! It will also provide extra protection when cycling outdoors.
